White Rice



Welcome again

Today we are going to show you how to prepare white rice for lunch. It is so delicious and everybody like it.

 

Recipe:

Serves: 4 persons

Cooking time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

4 dl rice (wash rice before cooking)

2 oz. fine egg noodles

75 g butter

8 dl warm water

1 cube MAGGI

Salt, black pepper
 

Preparation:

In a medium pot, warm butter, then add the noodles, fry until they turn to golden color.


 
Add the rice and stir for few seconds. Then add the warm water to the rice.
Add salt, black pepper and MAGGI cube.
 


Wait until it boils, then low heat. Keep the pot locked for 10 minutes.
Check if all water disappeared  and then remove the pot of the stove  and keep it locked for another 10 minutes.

 
Serves next to a lot of Palestinian dishes like Koftat batata, Molokheya, Bamia….etc
  

Cooking Tips:
If you do not like noodles or you do not have it, you can prepare white rice without it.
